🤝 What Is a Professional Humor Club?

A Professional Humor Club (PHC) is an official team formed to participate in both individual and team competitions held under the umbrella of the World Humor Federation (WHF) as well as national and regional humor federations.

A club may be established by:

- a group of comedians or like-minded individuals,

- a local or national federation,

- an educational, cultural, commercial, or other institution.

A PHC can represent a city, region, or an organization at any official WHF event.

📋 Typical Structure of a Professional Humor Club

- 5–7 humor athletes (generalists or with specific focus: stand-up, sketch, team formats);

- a coach (may also be a performing member);

- a head coach (creative director, writer, and performance lead);

- a sound/video engineer;

- an administrative director or team manager.

During team competitions, 5 core athletes perform on stage, with up to 2 substitute members, which may include the performing coach.

There are no limits on the number of administrative or technical team members. Club structure may vary depending on performance format and competitive goals.
