I. Citizenship, Region, Professional Club, and Transfers
1. Which country can an athlete represent?
As of 2024, an athlete may represent the country of which they are a citizen, or the country in which they legally reside with a valid residence permit.
2. Which region can an athlete represent?
An athlete may represent:
- the region or city where they are officially registered as a resident; or
- the region or city of their Professional Humor Club (PHC).
3. How often can an athlete change their city or region of representation?
Once per year, during the transfer window: November 1 to March 1.
4. When can an athlete change the country they represent?
Upon submitting a formal request along with valid documentation (passport or residence permit).
The update in the WHF registry will be processed within one calendar month.
5. How often can an athlete change their Professional Humor Club?
Once per year, also during the official transfer window: November 1 to March 1.
II. Official Uniform
1. Current WHF Uniform Standard
The current official uniform for WHF athletes includes:
- a sleeveless T-shirt (for all genders),
- in one of the flag colors of the region or city they represent, or in the official colors of their Professional Humor Club (PHC).
All athletes representing the same region or club must wear matching uniforms at federal or interregional tournaments.
This standard is mandatory for all games that are filmed or officially archived.
2. Temporary Exception
Until further notice, tournaments without video recording are exempt from the official uniform requirement.
